Terms of Service

AddressNG is operated by Za Pollo Company Limited (“AddressNG,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using AddressNG, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

AddressNG is a rental marketplace and property registry for Port Harcourt, Nigeria, connecting tenants, landlords, and agents through GPS-mapped listings, tiered identity verification, and in-app messaging, bookings, and payments.

We provide the platform that connects tenants, landlords, and agents — the rental agreement itself is between them. We don't inspect properties, verify that a listing is accurate beyond what our KYC and boundary-capture processes cover, or guarantee that a property is available, habitable, or as described.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate information at signup and keep it up to date.
• You're responsible for anything that happens under your account, including keeping your password secure.
• One account per person. Accounts are not transferable.
• AddressNG currently serves Port Harcourt only.

Tenants are responsible for verifying a property in person before committing to it, and for the accuracy of information they provide when requesting a booking or lease.

Landlords are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, for having the legal right to list and lease the property, and for the GPS boundary they capture being a true representation of the property.

Agents are responsible for the accuracy of information provided on behalf of a landlord, and for disclosing their role as an agent (not the owner) in any listing they manage.

AddressNG uses a tiered verification system. Some features require submitting a government- issued ID or utility bill for admin review. Submitting false or altered documents is grounds for immediate account suspension.

Rent and booking payments made through AddressNG are processed by Paystack. Any platform fee, transaction fee, or commission that applies to a specific transaction will be disclosed to you at the time of that transaction — this policy doesn't fix a specific rate, since fee structures may differ by feature and may change as the platform develops.

AddressNG is not responsible for payment disputes between a tenant and a landlord once funds have been released in accordance with the lease or booking terms.

You agree not to:

• Post a listing for a property you don't have the right to list.
• Submit false, altered, or someone else's identity documents.
• Use another user's photos or listing content as your own.
• Attempt to circumvent AddressNG's payment or verification systems.
• Harass, defraud, or misrepresent yourself to another user.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the platform or its API beyond normal use.

Violating any of these is grounds for suspension or termination of your account.

You retain ownership of the photos, descriptions, and other content you submit. By posting a listing, you grant AddressNG a license to display, store, and distribute that content on the platform for as long as the listing is active or your account exists.

AddressNG is provided “as is.” We work to keep listings accurate and verified through GPS boundary capture and identity checks, but we don't guarantee that any listing is complete, current, or free of error, or that any user is who they claim to be beyond what our verification tiers cover.

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, AddressNG is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including disputes between tenants, landlords, and agents, or losses connected to a property listed on AddressNG.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, submits fraudulent information, or poses a risk to other users.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of AddressNG is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rivers State, Nigeria.

We may update these terms as AddressNG's features change. We'll update the effective date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
